The ALLY, or Accepting and Liberating LGBTQ+ Youth, For Parents Project is a 100% free online-course dedicated to parents of queer youth.
When coming out as queer, children seek acceptance and liberation from their parents, guardians, and supporters. However, what that means and what that looks like can be confusing. What terms do I use? What do I call my child now? How do I talk to them about these complex topics?
CIR has a goal to develop and create a course from the ground up that helps parents understand exactly that. With this online course, you will learn more about what it means when your child comes out, how to address certain conversations with your child, and overall help you be the best parental ALLY you can be.
