Phase 1 consisted of 12 regional workshops. Participants from varied disciplines used the current Minimum Standards Protocol (MSP) on child abuse and neglect investigations to identify gaps in their current investigation processes. A summary of the findings from Phase 1 can be found here.
In the Spring of 2021, participants from Phase 1 of the workshops will be invited back to participate in Phase 2 to further discuss gaps and barriers to effective investigations, what is working in investigations, and what is not working in investigations. Phase 2 will be divided into two workshops: Those serving rural populations (less than 2500 people) and those serving urban populations (more than 2500 people).
