Course Overview:

One out of four children attending school has been exposed to a traumatic event. This training will examine how this trauma impacts school performance, impairs learning, changed behavior and how to recognize and address trauma related symptoms in children.

This training has two-parts. After registering, participants will receive a link to a recorded lecture by David Love. This session is a pre- requisite and will provide key points related to the effects of trauma in children. Part two is the live, virtual training session on Nov. 17th. It is strongly encouraged that participants view the pre-recorded lecture to allow for a deeper conversation during the live event.
