Join the Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council Coalition for an online training event with Dr. Kristen Slack on the importance of providing concrete support for families to address child maltreatment. Drawing on her research in Wisconsin and across the country, she will review the role of the U.S. social welfare safety net in preventing abuse and neglect, and strategies for promoting protective factors using a strength-based and ecologically-focused lens.
