oTraining

Each topic area will have a basic training in three locations and one advanced topic. The basic training will include livestreaming for rural areas not able to attend in person.

p Webinars

The UP Project will also conduct a live webinar for each of the four topic areas. Webinars will be 60 minutes in length, consisting of lecture, live polling, quizzes, interactive discussions, video clips and question and answer time. All web-based trainings will be recorded and archived online for future viewing opportunities.

Office Hours

Office Hours will be offered by Subject Matter Experts for victim service providers to have one-on-one question and answer time regarding specific practices, strategies and/or unique issues in service delivery.

Resources

Effective Service Delivery to Underserved Populations - a series of handouts that will offer strategies for working with each specific victim group. The intent of this resource is provide a tool that will encourage providers to change the way they deliver services to these target groups on each specific topic.

Technical Assistance

Practitioners Exchange

A group space online for victim service providers to network, share resources and ideas, and find out the latest training and resource opportunities from the project. The Practitioners Exchange will be hosted using a Google group.
