Roger A. Canaff, Legal Expert, Anti-Violence & Child Protection Advocate
Roger Canaff is an experienced child, adolescent, adult, and disabled victims legal expert. He was born and raised in Virginia and has been practicing law as a prosecutor with a specialty in child abuse, child sexual assault, and juvenile crime for almost 20 years. He worked as a Highly Qualified Expert with the Trial Counsel Assistance Program, US Army Legal Services Agency from 2009 to 2012. He has lectured to prosecutors, law enforcement, medical experts, advocates and other allied professionals as well as the public. He continues to train and consult internationally and lives in New York City.

Join us for an Ask the Expert Forum on the topic of male survivors of abuse. This session is designed for participants to ask expert Roger Canaff questions to help you understand the dynamics of male victimization and how to improve your practices in working with this underserved population. Questions can be sent prior to the session or asked live during the event.

The Ask the Expert session has two-parts. After registration, participants will receive a link to a 20-minute recorded mini lecture my Mr. Canaff. This session is a pre-requisite and will provide key points around working with male victims. Part two is the live, virtual Ask the Expert session held on April 6, 2017 at 10am.

It is strongly encouraged that participants view the 20-minute session to allow for a deeper conversation during the live Ask the Expert event.
